I just recently read Andy Patton's rendition of Psalm 10 and I was thinking long about what causes people who believe in God to feel terror. I listed many circumstances in my mind and then my thoughts suddenly rested on Mother Theresa. I wondered if she felt terror in the face of what she was confronted with and drawn to minister to. And then your lecture had the jewel of the anecdote of Mother Theresa's letters to her spiritual advisor. I'm completely speechless to know of that experience and yet she continued to move forward. I'm so glad you included it in this lecture. Thank you!
